Privacy

The app

• Purrify reads the folders you tell it to watch, on your Mac. It doesn't upload files, file names or usage data, and it has no analytics.
• Your license key is checked on your Mac, without going online.
• If you activate with an order ID instead of a key, the app sends that order ID to purrify.app to get your key. Nothing else is sent.

Payments

Paddle.com is our Merchant of Record. When you buy Purrify, Paddle collects your name, email, country, payment details and billing address, and processes them under Paddle's privacy policy. We never see your card details. Paddle shares your email address, country and order details with us so we can issue your license and help with support.

License keys

Your key contains your Paddle order ID, the email you paid with, and, for founding licenses, your founding number. It's signed so the app can verify it. Anyone you give your key to can read those details, so keep it to yourself.

Referral links and share cards

• Your referral link contains a code, not your name or email. If you're a founding buyer, the link's preview shows your founder number.
• When someone buys through your link, Paddle records the discount on their order so we can pay your reward. We don't tell you who they are.
• The share page the app opens draws your card in your browser. The numbers are in the link itself and aren't stored by us.

This website

• purrify.app uses no cookies of its own and no analytics or ad trackers.
• Our server keeps standard request logs (IP address, time, page) for security and debugging, for up to 30 days.
• When you open checkout, Paddle's script loads from paddle.com and Paddle's policies apply to it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at hello@purrify.app. We keep order records as long as tax law requires. For data Paddle holds, contact Paddle.
